Rigards was founded by Ti Kwa and Jean-Marc Virard, who shared a passion for unique eyewear and a desire to create a brand that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design.
The brand name “Rigards” is derived from the French word “regards,” meaning “to look” or “glance,” reflecting their focus on eyewear’s role in how we see and are seen. Rigards is known for its use of natural materials like buffalo horn and sterling silver, and its commitment to hand-craftsmanship and time-honored production methods.
Rigards is dedicated to recycling traditional materials and creating high-quality, long-lasting eyewear that reflects their philosophy.
