Drift Timber Collection – an inspired, limited offering of beautiful, salvaged hardwood eyeglass frames. Each piece tells a story. They are classic, hand crafted, and impossibly unique.

The Truss: The dark brown patina and deep grain speak of character and experience. The wood for these frames was carefully milled from centuries old beams taken from the heart of the Meatpacking District in New York City. The beams themselves served as an integral part of a building’s structure – watching over generations of workers as they earned their daily wage. These timbers were painstakingly removed during a historic remodel by designer and craftsman Daniel Grady Faires. Daniel uses the wood to create his line of beautiful furniture pieces called Capsule Furniture.

The Nail Hole: A testament to the strength and durability of this timeless medium. Each nail hole serves as a mark of perseverance; a badge of honor.
